Meghan Newsam Community Celebration

Our goal of this year’s Celebration is to continue to share the laughter and joy Meghan brought to our community. Meghan was full of life and always put on the best parties, gave with her whole heart, and always looked to see how she could help small businesses grow. Our mission is to continue to celebrate our community as we help bring opportunities to grow together and showcase our great community!

The schedule of events for the 2022 Celebration is as follows:
Friday: July 29, 2022 there will be an all-persons 9-hole golf outing at the Murdo Golf Course.
Saturday: July 30th 2022, there will be a fun run around the City Park Dam in the morning, followed by games and activities for the whole family late morning throughout the afternoon to include a Soap Box Derby!! A 3 on 3 Basketball tournament is also in the works. Live music will be at the Murdo Rodeo Arena. This concert is donation only, come out and enjoy! Musical acts will include local area talents: Emmy Newsam, The Panhandlers, Garage Boys (upbeat Vegas band!), and showstopper Clare Dunn (Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards Female Vocalist of the Year). The fun will continue Sunday: July 31st, 2022 we will have Cowboy Church at 6 pm at the rodeo arena. After church there will be a short story time at “Meghan’s Little Free Library” located by the Gazebo.
