In 2011, Hartford, South Dakota started a new holiday tradition with Hometown Christmas. The theme for 2024 is “A Magical, Musical Christmas”.  This years event will feature a craft show, visits by Santa & Mrs. Claus, kids carnival & activities, gingerbread house contest, cookie decorating, one of the biggest lighted parades in the region, and more!  Hometown Christmas has something for all ages.
